The Census Bureau’s Vintage 2025 incorporated-place table estimates 84,187 residents in Warwick on July 1, 2025. Warwick ranks third among the state’s incorporated cities, 460 residents behind Cranston. The population figure selects the guide. It does not indicate demand for a lifting method.
RIDOT’s T. F. Green Station project page places the commuter-rail platform beside Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport, just south of the InterLink and parking garage. A site in this district can sit beside rail, airport property, or a controlled road corridor. The exact parcel and load route determine which authorities belong in the plan.
The current FAA entry for Rhode Island T. F. Green International lists an 8,700-by-150-foot principal runway and a second paved runway. PVD is attended continuously, with Class C service during published approach-control hours. This is the aviation environment inside Warwick, not permission for an off-airport operation. The FAA entry reports frequent flight-school, transient-jet, and vertical activity. It also directs helicopters to avoid residential areas below 1,000 feet. Warwick’s airport district is not an empty industrial tract. Exact coordinates, current charts, NOTAMs, air traffic requirements, and the full area below a suspended load remain necessary.
The National Weather Service’s Rhode Island flood history records 6 to 10 inches of rain during the March 2010 flood. Warwick Mall took about two feet of water, while I-95 and the Airport Connector closed. That history does not predict a parcel’s condition. It shows why staging elevation, drainage, emergency egress, and current forecasts must be checked together.
RIDOT’s current truck-restriction table lists temporary 10-foot-6-inch clearances on Route 1 and Route 113 in Warwick. These entries were checked September 11, 2026 and can change. Delivery dimensions, traffic control, property consent, and the aviation route need separate review. The site survey checklist keeps those interfaces visible.

Aggregate or bulk-material facilities outside the airport district still require an equal comparison with ground access and a performance calculation for the actual day.
Warwick’s comprehensive plan economic-development chapter identifies logistics and warehousing for the New England market as an opportunity sector. It specifically notes processing and customization activity. That creates documented freight context around the interstate and airport corridors, not proof of work at a particular facility.
The same city plan identifies high-value manufacturing and assembly. Its implementation table calls for an innovation district in the industrial area near I-95.
