The 2020 Census urban-area table places the whole Fargo, ND-MN urban area first at 216,214 residents. The cross-state total selects this guide. It is not Fargo city’s population or a measure of lifting demand.

The city expects the system to be complete in 2027. That is documented civil-infrastructure context, not evidence that an aircraft is planned for the work. Use the site survey checklist to test actual access and exclusion areas.
The National Weather Service Red River flood guide explains that spring severity depends on the freeze and melt sequence, rainfall, snow-water content, frost depth, soil moisture, and river ice. Snow depth alone is not enough. Current river forecasts and surface conditions should govern staging decisions near low ground. Historical flood behavior cannot clear a pickup zone.
