This release covers Newark, Camden, Phillipsburg, Trenton, and Atlantic City. Census Vintage 2025 identifies six metropolitan statistical areas containing New Jersey territory. These pages cover the five largest by whole-area estimate; Vineland ranks sixth and is outside this five-guide release. Newark and Camden follow the named New Jersey metropolitan divisions. Phillipsburg represents the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area because Warren County is its only New Jersey component and Phillipsburg is the county’s largest incorporated place. Whole-area estimates set guide order. They do not measure city population, project demand, site access, or authority over a work area.
